High above the oceans of mass-produced wine, far from the mortality of sweaty grocery store shelves or sweltering bottle shops, there is a place. A place fragrant with mystery and promise, where the graceful hands of time turn wine into something altogether fine! Of course, a place this rare and special only exists because people equally rare and special like to have rare and special stuff! With that in mind, we're proud to offer limited access to this highly intelligent and exceptionally good-looking group of people. From this day forward, these residents of the pantheon of oenological excellence shall be known as "The Joint Chiefs of Stash!
The Stash
The steep Diamond Mountain District vineyards at Graeser Estate are perfect for growing Bordeaux style wine with the ability to age for an extended period of time. We also had the opportunity to make several vintages of wine with fruit from the Pointer Run Vineyard, located just across the lane from the world famous Chateau Montelena Vineyards. We hold back wine from each vintage for cellaring in our wine library. The beautifully aged wine in our library is something that we are very proud of. We are excited to share these wines with the Joint Chiefs!
