75% Cabernet Franc, 20% Cabernet Sauvignon and 5% Merlot, our 2004 estate Cabernet Franc is a delicate and beautiful addition to our library of extraordinary Diamond Mountain wines.  Boasting a brilliant floral nose, with hints of rose petal, violets and lavendar, and gorgeous cherry, raspberry and milk chocolate fruit on the palate, this stunner will age gracefully for at the next twenty years.  It pairs wonderfully with fine cuts of meat, stronger flavored fish and shellfish.

Our debut vintage of Succulence is made entirely from Two Dog Vineyard merlot fruit.  The Two Dog Vineyard is located in Calistoga, and shares, as the northern boundary of its property, the southern boundary of the Bennett Lane Winery.  The wine was fortified with 164-proof neutral grape spirit, rather than with brandy, preserving the natural cherry and raspberry exuberance of the young merlot fruit, and then aged twelve months in French, American and Hungarian oak barrels, giving it gorgeous chocolate, coffee and smoke notes.  Succulence makes for a decadent dessert experience, a delightful apertif, and a marvelous nightcap.
