Two Dog Vineyard Merlot - 2002

The Two Dog Merlot is a dark ruby and purple wine with aromatic black cherry and dark chocolate nose. There is a nice richness, medium body with tons of cherry, currant fruit mixed with dark toasty oak. Dress up a hearty weeknight meal or serve it with your best steaks or roast meats, the Two Dog is perfect for both settings. Extremely approachable wine now, it will age nicely for 3-5 years.

Brilliant ruby red hue. Cherry, vanilla, thyme and dried rose petal aromas. Medium-full with good concentration, this is an elegant and forward Merlot with bright fruit, subtle oak, moderate tannins and lively acidity. Nice food wine.
