The soils at Graeser are strikingly dark and the surrounding hills provide a barrier against arid winds. The elevation and locale give Graeser its own micro climate, and today - although the property had been a chicken ranch for many years - the vineyards blend gracefully with the landscape. "Youíd think theyíd always been here," says Graeser. Though no one could have predicted it, today Graeser is totally focused on his vineyards and his wine. "This winery is for people who really know how to appreciate the finer things in life," says Graeser.
