2004 Alex's Ruff Red Table Wine

The 2004 vintage of Alex's Ruff Red is 100% Cabernet Sauvignon, sourced from the Cyrus Creek Vineyard, north of St. Helena, near the base of Spring Mountain.  The wine offers a gorgeous bouquet of cherry and blackberry fruit on the nose, with cherry, cassis and raspberry on the palate, and notes of chocolate, plum and vanilla aft.  43 months aging in French oak barrels gives the wine exceptional integration and an extraordinarily refined flavor profile.  This vintage of Alex represents a truly fantastic value, and is a superb companion for all sorts of finer meats.
