2002 Cabernet Sauvignon, Estate

A blend of 98% Cabernet Sauvignon with 2% Merlot, the 2002 Cabernet may be our best effort ever with this varietal. An opulent nose, with blackberry, hints of leather and almond skin, leading to cherry and berry fruit on the palate, with cassis and tobacco.  Aft shows peppery tannins, with lovely vanilla and mocha aromas.  The long, detailed aftertaste echoes vibrant berry fruit and delicate vanilla-scented tannins.  The 2002 vintage is an outstanding exemplar of world-class Diamond Mountain Cabernet, and truly the perfect candidate for your cellar.
