Our 2001 Cabernet looks vibrant and alive in the glass. The rich dark colors with ruby highlights are inviting! The wine is aromatic and youthful with cherry, red plum and vanilla spice. On the palate the flavors are focused and balanced. Ripe and rich cherry, a touch of chocolate, black currant and just the right amount of new oak. The easy tannins and nice acidity suggest 5-15 years of enjoyment and an affinity for any foods classic Cabernet Sauvignon goes well with. Try it with Rack of Lamb or a Holiday Roast.

90 - Beverage Testing Institute July 1, 2025 Brilliant ruby red-violet hue. Black cherry, cassis, plum and mace aromas. Medium-full with very good concentration, this displays attractive ripe black fruit, a generous mid-palate and a lengthy finish with refined tannins and nicely integrated oak.
