2001 Coeur De Leon, Estate

2001 Red Table Wine Our proprietary red is 50% Cabernet Sauvignon 30% Cabernet Franc and 20% Merlot. Exceptionally balanced with a complete aromatic profile. Fleshy red fruit, black raspberry, bright red cherry leading to a medium/full bodied wine with nice texture and length. This blended style of wine is all the rage in the cult wine world; they are robust and yet approachable when young. We blend our best lots into this wine, creating a wine with Diamond Mountain character and broad appeal.

Brilliant ruby red hue. Black currant, black cherry, pepper and oak aromas. Medium-full, this has upfront fruit, subtle oak and moderate tannins along with a nicely defined finish. All in all, a pleasant and elegant blend.
